Rebels on the Road Creator Hub

Creator programme terms

Version of 5 November 2026

The short version: you share our pages or the partner links from your Creator Hub, and you earn 40% of the commission we receive when your follower books. Be clear that it's a paid link, don't advertise on our partners' names, and you can ask for a payout once you've earned €50.

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are between you, the creator, and Rebels on the Road, a Dutch sole proprietorship registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42009740, VAT NL005431406B84. You take part as an independent business or private individual. Nothing in these terms makes you our employee or agent.

2. Joining

  1. The programme is by invitation. We create your account, your creator code and your access to the Creator Hub. Your code never changes.
  2. You accept these terms the first time you log in. We keep a record of the version you accepted and when.

3. What you earn

  1. You earn 40% of the commission we receive from a partner for a booking that is matched to you. The share that applies is shown per partner in your Creator Hub. A share that changes later applies to bookings entered after the change.
  2. A booking is matched to you when the partner's report shows your creator code. That happens when your follower reached the partner through a link from your Creator Hub: a page of our site with your code, or a direct partner link made in the hub.
  3. Only partners that agreed to share commission with creators can earn you money. Your Creator Hub shows which partners take part. For the others we count your clicks, but a booking earns you nothing.
  4. Some local partners cannot see which link a visitor came from. A booking with them counts only when the partner confirms to us that it came through you.
  5. Clicks on their own earn nothing. Bookings you make yourself through your own links earn nothing. A booking made on a later visit that did not start with your link is not matched to you.

4. Approval and cancellations

  1. A booking starts as pending. It is approved once the partner has confirmed it and has paid us the commission. Depending on the partner this can take several weeks, because many partners only pay after the traveller has checked in or travelled.
  2. A booking that is cancelled, refunded or rejected by the partner earns nothing. If that happens after we already paid you for it, we deduct the amount from your next payout.
  3. We rely on the partner's report. If a partner corrects an amount, we correct your share with it.

5. Payout

  1. You can request a payout in your Creator Hub as soon as your available balance is at least €50. Below that, your balance stays and keeps growing.
  2. We pay through Wise, to the payout details you entered in the hub. We pay the Wise fees for the transfer and any currency conversion. If a payment has to go through SWIFT, your bank or an intermediary bank may charge a fee on arrival. We have no control over those charges, so we don't cover them.
  3. We check every request against the partner reports and aim to pay within 14 days.
  4. Your balance and every booking are kept in euros. You choose in your payout details whether you are paid in euros, US dollars or British pounds. For dollars and pounds we convert at Wise's exchange rate on the day we pay; the amount you receive is shown with the payout in your Creator Hub.
  5. You are responsible for keeping your payout details correct. Every change is confirmed by email to you and to us.

6. Tax

You're responsible for any tax on what you earn. If you're a business in another EU country, VAT is reverse-charged. If you're a private individual in the Netherlands, Dutch law requires us to report payments to the tax authority, so we'll ask for your citizen service number (BSN) and date of birth.

7. How you promote

  1. Make clear that your link is advertising, for example with #ad or "affiliate link", as required by consumer law and advertising codes in your country. Our partners require this too.
  2. Use the links from your Creator Hub. Don't put your creator code in a link yourself and don't shorten our links with a service that hides where they go.
  3. Don't make claims of your own about prices, availability or safety. Refer to what is on our site or the partner's site at that moment.
  4. You may not: buy search or social ads on the name of Rebels on the Road or of one of our partners, or on misspellings of those names; offer money, discounts or other rewards for booking through your link (cashback); use spam, fake reviews, bought traffic or anything that suggests you are us or the partner; post your links on coupon or discount-code websites; promote next to content that is illegal, hateful or misleading.
  5. Our partners have their own rules for publishers. If a partner asks us to stop a promotion, we'll ask you to stop it and you agree to do so promptly.

8. Data

  1. You never receive personal data about travellers, and neither do we: only the partner's booking reference, the date and the amounts. A click through your link is stored without an IP address or a cookie.
  2. We store your name, email address, the channels you tell us about and your payout details. Payout details are stored encrypted. We use them to run the programme and to pay you, and we keep payment records as long as tax law requires.

9. Changes and ending

  1. We can change these terms or the share with 30 days' notice by email. Bookings entered before the change follow the old terms. You'll be asked to accept the new version in the hub.
  2. You or we can end the partnership at any time, by email. Approved earnings are still paid out, also below €50. Bookings that are still pending are paid once they are approved.
  3. If you break these terms, for example through fraud or misleading promotion, we may end the partnership right away and withhold what was earned on the bookings involved.

10. Liability and law

Our liability to you is limited to what we paid you in the last twelve months, except in case of intent or gross negligence. These terms are governed by Dutch law, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
